Join the RRP Community During Our 2025 Year-End Giving Campaign

November 24, 2025

The Retired Racehorse Project has built a true community dedicated to increasing demand for Thoroughbreds beyond racing.

Former connections cheer their horses home at the Thoroughbred Makeover.
Volunteers dedicate their time and energy to helping produce events.
Aftercare professionals network at RRP programs.
Horses find quality homes beyond racing through RRP programming and services.
And more equestrians than ever are discovering the Thoroughbred breed as the ultimate partner.

But there’s more work to be done: the RRP has its sights set on expanding its services and programming in areas of need, positioned to unveil a new strategic plan early in 2026. Will you join our community on behalf of the Thoroughbred by making a donation?

Strong communities can make a real difference. If every person receiving this email gives $10, we can raise over $100,000 for the future of Thoroughbred aftercare. Your donation is tax-deductible and will help us reach our year-end goal of $100,000: these funds will position us to unveil our strategic plan in early 2026, with goals to expand our programming and services.

We’re grateful for the support of the following donors, who have pledged a total of $41,000 in matching funds to get our campaign off to a strong start:

  • Valerie Callcott-Stevens
  • Copper Beech Stables
  • Glen Hill Farm
  • The Happy Dog Fund
  • Carolyn Rice
  • Thor-Bred Stables

As a token of our appreciation:
Every donation over $100 will receive an RRP pin, commemorating our 15-year anniversary in 2025!

Special: hold a Facebook fundraiser for the RRP!
Create a Facebook fundraiser to benefit the Retired Racehorse Project during our year-end campaign, and we’ll award $100 in RRP Store credit to our top fundraiser as of December 31, 2025! Learn more about Facebook fundraising here.
