THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING THE RRP
Originally launched as “Makeover Champions” in conjunction with the 2024 Thoroughbred Makeover, Makeover Connections brings enhancements to the outreach program that invites members of the Thoroughbred racing industry to demonstrate public support for former connected horses who are entered in the retraining competition.

What is a Makeover Connection?
New for 2026: whether you bred them, owned them, trained them, groomed them, galloped them, or simply loved them, Makeover Connections is your invitation to celebrate the horses you've helped shape and reconnect you with the people who shared in their journey. All Makeover Connections are encouraged to participate in the following:
- Sharing updates (provided by the RRP) about their former connected horses throughout the Thoroughbred Makeover event, October 7-10, 2026
- Sharing participation in the Makeover Connections program on their website and social media platforms
Makeover Connections can also participate in the following optional ways:
- Volunteering at the Thoroughbred Makeover
- Attending the event to meet their former connected horses and their Makeover trainers
- Making a monetary donation in support of the RRP’s charitable mission is encouraged but not required

Claim Your Makeover Connections
Enter your name or business name (stable, farm, ownership group) and email address (other fields are optional) and the form will automatically return horses of record based on the name provided.
Don't see a horse you were expecting to see? Use the search bar to look up horses by name or pedigree. If you have more than one connection to the same horse (for example, breeder and owner), simply search for that horse again and submit each connection separately. Once you've added all of your horses, complete the Status and Type fields for each entry, then click Submit.
Complete the Status and Type columns next to each returned horse to claim your connections, hit submit, and we will be in touch! Questions? Contact Individual Giving Manager, Brittney Atras at batras@therrp.org.
