The third day of the Thoroughbred Makeover and National Symposium saw plenty of action!

The Lexington leg of the Real Rider Cup welcomed 30 horse and rider combinations along with hundreds of spectators to New Vocations at Mereworth Farm on June 28th, 2025.

First run as a pilot program in 2023, the Former Broodmare division is now an official competition avenue at the Thoroughbred Makeover.

The RRP announced today the list of participating trainers accepted to compete at the 2025 Thoroughbred Makeover and National Symposium, presented by Thoroughbred Charities of America.

Accepted trainers have signed up to bring a total of 416 horses.

The Vendor Fair runs throughout the competition, October 8-11, at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington.

Clinics and guided schooling will be offered at the conclusion of preliminary competition for horses and their trainers that did not qualify for the Finale Championships.
