The Thoroughbreds of the 2025 Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event

April 04, 2025

Sorocaima and Buck Davidson. Equisport Photos

While there’s some amount of Thoroughbred blood likely present in all of the entrants for this year’s Kentucky Three-Day Event at the 5* and 4* level, some entries went straight to the source and will be representing the Thoroughbred breed on April 24-27!

This page will be your source for information, ride times and results of the Thoroughbred entries throughout the event. We’re also excited to share the equineline.com OTTB Profiles, courtesy of The Jockey Club T.I.P, available to view FREE for the event! Find profiles linked with each horse below to learn more about their bloodlines, careers, siblings, and more. OTTB Profiles are available for all registered Thoroughbreds at equineline.com.

This entry list is expected to shift right up until the competition starts. We’ll indicate below when particular horses have scratched, and will keep this article up to date with the most current numbers we have.

Updated as of April 23, 2025.
