Meet Goose, an eye-catching 9-year-old, 15.2-hand gray Thoroughbred gelding with a great mind, quick feet, and a genuine desire to work.
Goose has been hauled to local shows and clinics and handles the experience well. He loves having a job and truly enjoys working with his person. He is honest, kind, and willing, with the athleticism and responsiveness to continue developing into a serious barrel prospect or even into an English discipline.
He is easy and pleasant on the ground and has excellent barn manners. Goose loads, ties, stands quietly at the trailer, and is great for the farrier. He currently goes in basic four shoes and requires no other maintenance.
Under saddle, Goose is easy off the leg and has a nice foundation. He pivots, side passes, backs, and has the quick feet and athleticism that make him an exciting prospect for someone who knows how to bring out his potential.
Goose would thrive with a confident ammy or junior or someone already involved in the barrel racing industry who can continue putting the buttons on him and develop his natural ability. He is the kind of horse with the work ethic and athleticism to become a really fun partner.
