Audra and Gary Mandella share a deep-rooted passion for the horse industry.
A native Californian, horsewoman and agribusiness professional, Audra’s career has spanned wide from working cattle ranches, to the late John Harris’s Harris Ranch Feeding Company to the historic 6666 Ranch. Currently, Audra is a licensed therapist, where she advocates for others and offers equine-assisted therapy.
Gary is a multiple graded-stakes winning Thoroughbred trainer based in California, who launched his own stable in 2002 after working under his Hall of Fame father, Richard Mandella. He also has experience as a racing analyst for TVG and HRTV.Â
Together, they own Salesman (IRE), a graduate of the 2025 Retired Racehorse Project’s Thoroughbred Makeover.
