Amanda Chance

Kirsten Green

Amanda Chance began her career managing a sporthorse breeding farm, overseeing stallions, broodmares, and foals while handling the operational, logistical, and regulatory details that keep a breeding program running smoothly. During this time she also restarted and sold OTTBs, developing an early and enduring commitment to second careers for racehorses. She later spent more than a decade as a software test engineer, where she specialized in data integrity, process design, and quality control. After leaving the corporate world she founded Breed.Ride.Compete., which produces pedigree data for major national and international competitions, provides breeding consultation services, and builds custom pedigree reports for Thoroughbreds and sporthorses. She is also a writer and industry educator, serving as a breeding expert for Eventing Nation, a copywriter for Ride iQ, and an equine community growth specialist for Turnout HQ. A lifelong Thoroughbred rider, owner, and advocate, Amanda has evented through the Preliminary level and was accepted to the Retired Racehorse Project Makeover in both 2024 and 2025. She currently resides on a sporthorse breeding farm in Ocala, Florida with her four horses.
