Amanda is a licensed attorney with many years of regulatory experience both in the insurance and biotechnology industries. She has worked extensively with contracts and intellectual property and started two businesses of her own: a health coaching company and a target-grazing operation utilizing goats.
A horse enthusiast from the beginning, Amanda began riding with the US Pony Club at the age of eight and never looked back. She has been involved with Fox Hunting and competed in the Eventing and Hunter/Jumper disciplines; she has also served on the Board for the Iowa Nebraska Hunter Jumper Association and enjoys volunteering at the Thoroughbred Makeover.
Amanda resides in central Iowa with her husband, their sons and three dogs. She appreciates the versatility of her own OTTB, and currently competes with him in the dressage arena and over fences.
